Times Table Chart

A times table square is a multiplication maths chart provided here for students, parents and teachers.

How do I teach my child or student the multiplication tables?

Print out the multiplcation chart and hang it up on a wall (we’ve created printable PDF for each times table chart)
Learn the simplest times tables first – the 2 times tables are a good place to start as they just double each number. The 10 times tables are simple aswell, as they involve just asdding a zero to the number you’re multiplying. Save the harder ones (7 times tables, 8 times tables and 12 times tables) for later on as your child builds confidence.
Read over the tables frequently aloud such as “one times three is 3, two times three is 6, three times three is 9” etc
Write the times tables on a sheet of paper and read them silently to yourself.
